Description
If you have replaced a consumable item on your printer, you will also want to reset the consumable monitoring system to ensure accurate monitoring with the newly replaced item. Additionally, this procedure sometimes is the only way to clear the printer panel message "item to be replaced", warning.
Solution
1. Take printer offline by pressing the online - offline key one time.
2. Press the Menu key once, Configuration Language will appear on the printer display panel
3. Press the Next key (Right Arrow) until Service appears.
4. Press the Select key once
5. Press the Next key until you reach Clear Care.
6. Press the Select key twice (once for Yes and once for Yes is Selected).
7. Press the Online key twice and the printer will return to online status.
8. Ensure the printer control panel online indicator is active
