Windows 7 Disappearing Network Icons

Description
Icons linked to network drives or removable storage NAS etc disappear on a regular basis.
Solution
This is the result of a schduled task that deletes broken links thus deleting these desktop icons. To fix this issue you need to go to Task Scheduler and find Library-Microsoft-Windows-Diagnosis below this disable the Scheduled task.
This should solve the problem
